I think this has been around for a while, but I passed it over before. However, there’s not much new and interesting around these days, and the back label touts “bright flavors of lemongrass, guava, passion fruit, and a touch of grapefruit,” which sounded like my kind of Sauvignon Blanc.
I didn’t find all that, but it’s pretty good, with flavors of yellow melon, lemon, less ripe kiwi (maybe gooseberry?), and a strong minerality. My criticism of it is that it starts out with a bit of flavor that I identify at first as green bell pepper, but which usually turns into some kind of sulfur. However, this component decreased greatly as the bottle aired (in the fridge).
