Frequent commenter Seeboy said (can’t find it now) this wine didn’t taste like Pinot Noir and he hated it. It’s hard for me to disagree, in that it didn’t have much of what I prize in Pinot Noir, either: no floral aromas, no lightness on the palate, no earth or funk. However… I still think it’s pretty good wine for the money, with flavors of deep red cherry, fresh red raspberry (with that acid), and some sap or sage. To my taste, it needed about 90 minutes of air in a decanter to really open up, when it became more lively and a little more complex.
