Clear medium garnet; lots of red fruit in the nose…raspberry, cherry and tart red plum. In the mouth it’s tangy underripe raspberry, some cranberry, pie cherry, black and green peppercorn and a certain menthol mintiness in the flavors. Fairly high acidity and medium tannins that show particularly in the finish. Not a complex wine by any means, but tasty enough for burgers and simple faire…and a decent summer red.
