On first pour, this wine is a little rough, especially on the finish. This mostly smooths out after being open a little bit, showing lighter creamy vanilla / white pear, lighter yellow lemon, white of melon rind, and still a little weird funky roughness on the finish. The fruit flavors are nice enough, but a bit on the lighter and less intense side, and I found the acid slightly strong in comparison, although some folks likely prefer that. 🙂 Not very exciting to me but certainly drinkable.
